My Story

Some callings are loud. Mine was quiet, and I spent years pretending not to hear it. My name is Jennefer Colome, and at 18, Reiki found me.

Before I gave in to it, I spent a long time searching. I studied different religions, different healing traditions, and different paths, looking for the one that would actually bring me closer to God and closer to myself. I'm a yogi, and bhakti yoga has shaped that search deeply. But underneath all of it, Reiki kept calling. Quietly and persistently, for years, until I finally couldn't ignore it anymore.

When I stopped resisting and gave myself fully to the practice, everything changed. I healed, physically and mentally, in ways I didn't think were possible. And once I felt that healing in my own body, I knew I couldn't keep it to myself. The world needs this. That conviction is what led me to open Jenco Reiki.

I am a 7th generation Reiki Master in the lineage of Usui Shiki Ryoho, trained by Michelle Lobstein, tracing directly back to Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki himself. I've been studying for 25 years now, and I'm still a student. I continue studying under different lineages and teachers, because this practice is never something you finish learning. It's something you keep deepening.

Today, my work is about bringing that same restoration I experienced to others, whether you're here simply to relax and reset, or you're walking a harder road through chronic illness, anxiety, or grief, and you want support that works alongside your doctors and therapists, not instead of them. Healing is not one path. I'm here to walk beside you on yours.
